WINGS celebrated the Great Backyard Bird Count this morning with an inspiring bird walk at the Durgapur Barrage. On 15.02.2026, our group of 20 dedicated participants braved the early morning mist to document local avian life, contributing vital data to global conservation efforts.

From spotting migratory waterbirds to tracking local residents, it was a fantastic morning of citizen science and community spirit. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us in making a difference for our feathered friends!
